Care Angels works alongside people with disabilities, seniors, and anyone at risk of losing housing. We help you find a place of your own, then stay with you while you settle into it.
Who we are
Are you, or someone you represent, facing housing insecurity or in need of support to sustain your current living situation? We work closely with clients, standing by your side and coordinating with Waiver Case Managers to identify housing options and available resources.
Housing Stabilization Services is a Medical Assistance benefit. It exists to help people with disabilities, seniors, and people at risk of homelessness find housing, and then keep it.
We take pride in assisting people who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless, to find permanent housing in a setting of their choice.
How it works
Housing stabilization moves through three stages. You can stop and ask questions at any point along the way.
A housing consultant sits down or speaks with you to see whether you meet the eligibility requirements for HSS, and helps you obtain the proper documents if you need them.
We help you find housing of your choice, then assist with the move itself.
We follow up to see how things are going in your new home, and keep helping you work through the challenges that could otherwise cost you your housing.

Eligibility and paperwork
Our housing consultants meet with you to assess your eligibility and assist in obtaining necessary documents, if required. This service is among our most requested offerings, and it has made a significant positive impact for many of our clients. We handle every part of it carefully, so you are not left chasing paperwork on your own.
Finding your place
We cater to individuals currently experiencing homelessness, or at risk of it. We also assist individuals with disabilities in reaching stability that lasts.
Keeping your home
Our aim is to help you maintain your residence by addressing the life barriers that hinder housing stability, including mental health challenges, substance use, and more.
Community outreach
We visit community shelters, transitional houses, and treatment centers to raise awareness about our services, with the aim of closing the gap on homelessness.
